We are seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead all production activities within a well-established food manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the factory.
- Ensure quality control, health & safety, and food safety compliance according to current BRC standards.
- Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and operational excellence.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the production team.
- Make quick, accurate decisions regarding equipment purchase, use, and maintenance, including plant, machinery, and PPE.
- Achieve production KPIs while maintaining food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing a large team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, preferably within the meat industry.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate staff and meet business objectives.
