The Numbers That Matter

25% faster time to hire

20% improved speed to competence

8x return on investment

Who's already on board: Forward-thinking teams at Virgin Media O2, Lidl, Merlin Entertainments, AWE, and Paramount trust us to help them spot the right hire every time and deliver hiring magic.

Why this matters: We're not just another HR tech company. We're solving one of the biggest challenges facing every growing business: finding and hiring exceptional people, fast. Our platform doesn't just assess candidates - it predicts success and empowers talent teams with AI tools they love.

Our dazzle (that's our team!)

Fun fact: A group of zebras is called a dazzle – and ours truly is dazzling!

We create a culture in which our team thrives and gallops ahead.

As we roam free and empower our dazzle, we gallop ahead on the journey to achieving our goals. We understand this journey will pose challenges along the way, yet we brighten the trail with our positive mindset and encouragement of others. The dazzle continuously moves, gaining knowledge and skills so that we can graze new grounds.

What you'll be doing

Our parental leave cover role is about more than just holding down the fort - you'll be taking good care of our product, customers, and amazing team during a pivotal period. As Head of Product, you'll keep the team energised and focused, ensuring everyone continues galloping ahead together toward shared goals while maintaining the quality and impact of our work.

Core focus areas

  • Team leadership & development - Provide line management and daily leadership for our six-person product and design team. You'll coach, mentor, and be a trusted thinking partner, keeping the team energised, focused, and aligned towards shared objectives.
  • Product delivery excellence - Own the end-to-end product delivery process from ideation to release. This includes maintaining delivery schedules, removing blockers, and sustaining momentum while collaborating with engineering and stakeholders to balance quality with speed.
  • Customer alignment - Act as a key interface between the product team and our customers, supporting successful client rollouts through close collaboration with Customer Success and Sales. You’ll help guide implementation and delivery, thoughtfully manage stakeholder expectations, and act as a key point of alignment between customer needs and our product strategy.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth role transition and supportive handover process
  • Champion team members' career growth and development, including leading performance review process in April 2026
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and the leadership team
  • Optimise product development processes for efficient, predictable delivery
  • Track progress against roadmap goals, working closely with the CEO and squad leads to plan effectively and proactively address risks or blockers
  • Bring the voice of our customers into product discussions, helping to shape thoughtful, customer-informed decisions that drive long-term value
  • Partner with the CEO on strategic alignment between long-term vision and immediate execution

Requirements

Must-haves

  • End-to-end product delivery: Proven track record of taking products from initial concept through to launch and adoption, with a focus on user impact and iteration
  • Startup experience: Deep understanding of startup dynamics, with a history of thriving in fast-paced, early-stage environments
  • Leadership excellence: Proven ability to empower remote teams (led by a trio of product, design and engineering), drive growth, and lead with empathy and optimism—experienced in guiding cross-functional squads to deliver aligned, high-impact outcomes efficiently
  • Product development expertise: Strong foundation in product development methodologies (Agile, design thinking, etc.)
  • B2B SaaS background: Experience developing and scaling software-as-a-service products for business customers
  • Customer co-innovation: Demonstrated success engaging customers collaboratively, identifying novel use cases, and solving complex business problems
  • Critical thinking: Known for rigorously challenging ideas and assumptions rather than accepting them at face value
  • User-centred: Strong advocate for design thinking, consistently championing user needs across the business
  • AI fluency: Enthusiastic about AI applications with solid understanding of core principles, benefits, and limitations

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience within HR technology, particularly interview intelligence and/or assessment platforms
  • Background building products for enterprise clients
