A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as the Head of Product Lifecycle, where you will play a pivotal role in managing Portfolio Strategy Management and R&D PMO team activities. You will coordinate the SPM/MEP process and lead the SGT PRM virtual team, all while overseeing target costing and reliability engineering roles. This dynamic position requires close collaboration with various teams, including Core Development Engineering and New Technology, to implement modifications that maximise ROI and drive growth in New unit sales and Service fleet revenue. Your strategic insights will shape the future of our products, ensuring we meet market demands and enhance sales.

How You'll Make an Impact

1. Lead a diverse team of over 30 professionals, including Product Owners and Project Managers, to drive the success of Siemens-Energy's product lifecycle.
2. Conduct thorough market analysis to identify key opportunities for new orders, enabling informed decision-making for future products and services.
3. Develop strategies to navigate the volatile Service market, ensuring responsiveness to changing customer requirements.
4. Drive growth initiatives by enhancing product features and developing service upgrades in targeted markets such as FPSO and BEX.
5. Oversee the commercialisation of new product versions, ensuring alignment with execution units and supporting strategic sales efforts.

What You Bring

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD) is advantageous.
2. Over 15 years of experience in strategic, sales, project, or product management roles, with a proven track record in team management.
3. Strong understanding of strategic processes and the ability to establish effective strategies based on internal and external analyses.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time to engage with customers and partners.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
