Job Title: Head of Product

Location: Any Air IT location

Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer

Description:

We are looking for a Head of Product to lead our Product Team, drive the evolution of our portfolio, and align our services with the evolving needs of our customers.

Air IT is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting UK-based SMBs with a comprehensive product portfolio of services spanning Cyber Security, Cloud, Modern Workplace, Data & BI, AI & Automation, and Support Services.

You'll balance day-to-day delivery with long-term vision, ensuring that we build the right products, the right way, for the right customers.

You'll be responsible for maintaining and evolving our well-established portfolio, overseeing the performance and development of our offerings, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Leadership

• Own the full product lifecycle for our existing portfolio, ensuring it remains relevant, competitive, and commercially effective.
• Drive continuous improvement across offerings, including pricing, positioning, packaging, and delivery alignment.
• Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions about product development.
• Lead the evaluation and introduction of new services, partnerships, or enhancements based on customer needs and market trends.

Hands-on Product Management

• Directly manage and deliver key product initiatives - from concept and scoping through to launch and iteration.
• Gather customer, commercial, and delivery feedback into actionable product changes.
• Own the creation of product documentation, collateral, and training materials as needed to support go-to-market and operational success.
• Monitor and Evaluate Product Performance, ensuring successful implementation and improvement through iteration.

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Lead the Product Team consisting of a Product Manager, a Microsoft Alliance Manager and a Technical Training Manager
• Set goals, support development, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Provide clear priorities and frameworks to empower the team and ensure delivery.

Strategy & Collaboration

• Work with the CTO to define and maintain the strategic roadmap across all product areas.
• Work closely with commercial, technical, and operational teams to ensure seamless product development and launch, while ensuring alignment and shared understanding of product direction.
• Build strong relationships with key vendors and partners, particularly Microsoft, to leverage strategic opportunities and co-investment.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

• Proven experience in a senior product role, ideally within an MSP or B2B services environment
• Experience managing or developing offerings in at least some of the following: Cyber Security, Cloud, Modern Workplace, Data & BI, AI & Automation, or Support Services
• Strong product management fundamentals and ability to balance strategy with hands-on delivery
• A commercially-minded leader with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Passionate about delivering value to customers through well-designed, scalable services
• Analytical ability to understand product performance data and market opportunity data
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Proven problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources
• Experience working with Microsoft solutions and programmes (e.g., Modern Work, Azure, Co-op)
• Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar MSP operational platforms
