Purchasing carbon credits and CDR through the carbon markets is one of the most established and scalable ways to channel finance to effective climate solutions and work toward societal net zero. Unfortunately, the carbon markets were plagued with mistrust and a lack of effectiveness since they’ve emerged – until Sylvera.

Our team is made up of leading minds in climate change from scientists to policy, finance, and carbon market experts. Sylvera’s geospatial capabilities are key to our current and future differentiation in carbon and adjacent markets. We deploy them to empower internal customers as well as serving external users directly. Starting with Sylvera’s world-leading proprietary biomass data we build data products, tools, and visualizations to unlock insights about carbon projects & beyond. An example of our day-to-day is monitoring deforestation, forest conservation, or reforestation by combining satellite imagery and our proprietary ground truth data collected via remote sensing.
Reporting to our VP Product, you will join at a critical juncture of our growth, ensuring we serve emerging external and internal needs leveraging our leading edge science, data and engineering competencies.
