This is a high-impact, senior position reporting across multiple engineering functions and stakeholders.

You will lead Product Managers and Technical Product Owners, prioritise work streams, and drive investment decisions that maximize value and speed to market.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key bridge between Product, Engineering and senior business stakeholders.
• Turn competing requests into a clear, prioritised and commercially aligned roadmap.
• Lead Product Managers and Technical Product Owners across a portfolio of engineering capabilities.
• Drive investment decisions based on customer impact, commercial value, risk and operational outcomes.
• Bring consistency and structure to backlog management, planning and delivery governance.
• Work across Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, Identity & Access Management, APIs and AI initiatives.
• Champion AI adoption and agentic engineering practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Influence executive stakeholders and help shape the future technology strategy of the organisation.

The Opportunity

We're working with a fast-growing software business investing heavily in engineering transformation, platform modernisation and AI-driven delivery. As part of that journey, they're creating a brand-new leadership role to bring Product and Engineering closer together than ever before.

This isn't a traditional Product position.

We're looking for a technically credible leader who can cut through complexity, balance competing priorities across multiple engineering functions, and build a clear, commercially-driven roadmap that enables teams to focus on what delivers the greatest value. Based on the job specification this role sits at the heart of demand management, prioritisation, engineering investment and AI-led innovation.

What You'll Be Doing
