Hackajob Ltd, based in Birmingham, seeks a Head of Product to own neighbourhood health and urgent care initiatives within our Health & Care portfolio. You will set the multi-year direction for national enterprise customers and collaborate across the product portfolio to modernise heritage technology.

You will lead and grow the product team, ensure successful releases, and align with NHS and enterprise stakeholders to deliver patient-centred outcomes.

Qualifications

Senior product leadership experience owning strategy and delivery for software at scale.
Track record of setting multi-year product direction and delivering it.
Ability to connect priorities across a product portfolio and think strategically.
Experience leading and developing product teams.
Credibility in health IT and NHS primary care knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Own neighbourhood health strategy and connect care around the patient.
Set multi-year product direction for Neighbourhood and Urgent Care within the IQ Health roadmap.
Collaborate with Heads of Product to align strategy across the portfolio.
Identify how products can work together and modernise heritage technology.
Own delivery for national enterprise customers within the roadmap and commercial plan.
Balance strategic work with hands-on delivery and ensure timely releases.
Lead, coach, and develop the Neighbourhood and Urgent Care product team.
Represent products with NHS and enterprise stakeholders to prioritise the roadmap.

Job description

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements

Senior product leadership experience, owning both strategy and delivery for software at scale.
A track record of setting multi-year product direction and delivering it.
Ability to think strategically and connect priorities across a product portfolio.
Comfort working with both modern and heritage technology, with a clear point of view on modernisation and innovation.
Experience leading and developing product teams.
Credibility in health IT or clinical software; understanding of NHS primary care, neighbourhood health, or urgent care is a strong advantage.
Experience delivering for large enterprise or national customers.
Working knowledge of regulated software obligations such as DCB0129, DCB0160, and EU MDR Class IIa.
Commercial acumen and accountability for the performance of a multi-product revenue base.
Desirable: familiarity with the direction of NHS neighbourhood health policy.
Desirable: experience modernising legacy products without disrupting customers.

Responsibilities

Own our neighbourhood health strategy, using our products to connect care around the patient.
Set the multi-year product direction for Neighbourhood and Urgent Care within our wider IQ Health roadmap.
Work with other Heads of Product to connect strategy across our portfolio.
Identify how established and emerging products can work together, and set the direction for modernising heritage technology.
Own delivery for national enterprise customers, balancing large-scale commitments with the product roadmap.
Balance strategic work with hands-on delivery support, ensuring committed releases are delivered against the roadmap and commercial plan.
Lead, coach, and develop the product team across Neighbourhood and Urgent Care.
Represent our products with NHS and enterprise customer stakeholders, translating clinical and market needs into a prioritised roadmap.
