Procurement at evoke is in a period of transformation, and we are looking for progressive leaders to help grow our team capability and realize significant value opportunities across the group. This role sits within the Group Procurement team, reporting to the Group Procurement Director and operating within the evoke Finance function.

The evoke Procurement team manages all third-party spend across the evoke group. We are seeking a Head of Procurement to oversee the Technology & Customer Ops category, leading a small team and working with key stakeholders to drive strategic value and opportunities with our supplier ecosystem.

You should demonstrate an approach to data-driven and pragmatic decision-making, with experience in category management in Payments, customer service delivery, and managing outsourced providers. An understanding of the broader ESG agenda and the importance of addressing Scope 3 emissions within our supplier footprint is also beneficial.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and executing category strategies aligned with business initiatives and objectives.
  • Leading end-to-end procurement activities across categories such as Hardware, Software, Managed Services, Platforms, Payments, AI/ML, Security, Analytics, and Customer Tooling.
  • Partnering with senior business leaders to ensure alignment with business goals and providing commercial and market insights.
  • Leading and developing a small team to deliver value efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, standards, and market best practices.
  • Managing sourcing risks and tracking operational and third-party dependencies.
  • Supporting the development and communication of the procurement value proposition across evoke.

Candidate requirements:

  • Progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, especially in technology-related categories such as Infrastructure, Cloud, SaaS, and digital platforms.
  • Proven ability to deliver value and lead complex, high-value deals and initiatives.
  • Experience leading multi-site teams in global and complex environments, capable of effecting change in ambiguous conditions.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
