Procurement Heads Industrial practice is delighted to be retained by Stelling Properties to recruit a Head of Procurement and Supply Chain.

Stelling are an award-winning family-run construction manufacturing business in Hampshire and are one of the UK’s leading modular development and construction companies.

They take an innovative, flexible, and collaborative approach, working as a trusted partner to contractors, developers, and property asset management companies in the design, build, and maintenance of modular construction projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop strong procurement foundations for manufacturing and construction as the business enters a rapid growth period and is currently at phase two of its largest ever project. You will report to the Managing Director and manage eight direct reports.

The Head of Procurement will need to:

• Create and deliver an organizational procurement strategy.
• Ensure a high degree of ethical standards and value for money across all spend activities, driving value across the business.
• Understand a project-based working environment.
• Ensure procurement decisions are driven by a full understanding of production requirements and review of the Bill of Materials in collaboration with production teams.
• Manage data integrity within the MRP system and develop a clear master schedule.
• Be responsible for managing warehousing and logistics functions.

• Extensive experience in procurement and sourcing strategies, managing materials exceeding £15m.
• Previous leadership experience managing a team and working within a diverse matrix management environment.
• Experience with MRP systems.
• Strong background in logistics, material storage, and warehousing management.
