Procurement Heads’ Industrial practice is delighted to be retained by Stelling Properties to recruit a Head of Procurement and Supply Chain.

Stelling are an award-winning family-run construction manufacturing business in Hampshire and are one of the UK’s leading Modular development and construction companies.

They adopt an innovative, flexible, and collaborative approach, working as a trusted partner to contractors, developers, and property asset management companies in the design, build, and maintenance of modular construction projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop strong procurement foundations for manufacturing and construction as the business enters a rapid growth phase and is currently at phase two of its largest project. You will report to the Managing Director and manage eight direct reports.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and delivering an organizational procurement strategy.
• Ensuring ethical standards and value for money across all spend activities, driving value across the business.
• Understanding a project-based working environment.
• Making procurement decisions based on production requirements and reviewing the Bill of Materials with the Production teams.
• Managing data integrity within the MRP system and establishing a clear Master schedule.
• Managing warehousing and logistics functions.

Skills and Experience:

• Significant experience in procurement and sourcing strategies managing over £15m in materials.
• Leadership experience managing a team and working in a matrix management environment.
• Strong background in logistics, material storage, and warehousing.

Salary and Benefits:

• £80,000-£100,000 per annum.
• Eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary company bonus scheme.
