We are offering a great opportunity to step into a Head of Procurement role, managing a new team within a multi-site business.

Our client is a global food manufacturer with UK sites, producing both branded and own-label products for retail and food service sectors. They are seeking a candidate with the ambition and capability to lead a newly created procurement team across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will oversee all UK procurement activities for direct and indirect services and will have line management responsibility for a team of five based in the UK. Additionally, they will manage key category areas, including commodities for European sites.

Applicants should possess significant experience at a senior procurement level, with strong expertise in category procurement across commodities, packaging, and ideally indirect services spend.

The ideal professional will be a self-starter, willing to engage in all aspects of the role to support the team. This hands-on position requires previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, excellent stakeholder management skills, and strong communication abilities.
