Beaumont Select Limited is partnering with a well-known Food business to recruit a newly created Head of Procurement role based in Surrey. The role focuses on leading sourcing and negotiations for finished goods with a truly global supplier base across multiple regions.

You will establish strong supplier relationships, coordinate robust supply chains and develop procurement strategies aligned with business needs. The position is hybrid with four days in the office and one Friday work-from-home.

Qualifications

• Global procurement experience, ideally within the Food, FMCG or Finished Goods industry.
• Management of global suppliers, ensuring optimisation of value and supply chain efficiency.
• Team management experience, developing junior members and coaching their progression.

Responsabilités

• Supplier Management: identify, evaluate and manage suppliers with quality control and risk assessment.
• Procurement Strategies: develop and implement global strategies, optimise cost through contracts and pricing.

Head of Procurement - Food/FMCG | Surrey | £80-100k ~ We are working with an established Food business in recruiting a newly created role within their global purchasing operations…

We are partnering with a well-known and recognised Food business, which has been supplying to the UK's major supermarket's for over 45 years.

As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and negotiation on the range of finished goods. Our client's supply base is truly global, with suppliers in 16 countries, across the Far East, North Africa and South America.

You will play a leading role in establishing excellent relationships with the niche supply base, coordinate robust and efficient supply chains and develop procurement strategies that align with the wider business and customer needs.

Head of Procurement Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management: Select and manage suppliers through identification, evaluation, quality control, and risk assessment, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement global procurement strategies, optimising cost through negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of buyers to excel in procurement practices and support strategic objectives.

Experience required:

• Global procurement experience, ideally within the Food, FMCG or Finished Goods industry.
• Management of global suppliers, ensuring optimisation of driving value and supply chain efficiency, building healthy relationships and ensuring continuous flow.
• Team management experience, developing junior members of the team and responsible for coaching and mentoring their progression.

Our client is based in Surrey and will require 4 days in the office a week, Fridays WFH.
