Driven by creating value and delivering results, this fast-paced, client-centric business is on a journey of growth and transformation and is looking for a hands-on Head of Procurement who can come in, make an impact across the existing supply chain, and implement the strategy that will lead the function into the future.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement a comprehensive procurement strategy to maximise efficiency and productivity
2. Act as a subject matter expert in supplier and client contract management
3. Conduct market analysis, strategic supplier sourcing, and tender document development
4. Lead complex pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring compliant tendering processes
5. Draft and amend commercial contract terms, manage approval processes, and oversee supplier onboarding/offboarding
6. Track and report contract benefits, ensuring they are realised
7. Implement and manage a dynamic supplier tiering structure based on performance
8. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage supplier relationships

Key Skills & Experience

1. CIPS qualification (desired but not essential)
2. Strong understanding of indirect procurement, contract management, and supplier performance management
3. Experience with technology platforms and reverse auctions
4. Ability to develop and manage senior stakeholder and supplier relationships
5. Agile and adaptive, with excellent problem-solving skills
6. Familiarity with VMS systems (advantageous)
7. Competitive salary with opportunity to add up between 20 and 25% bonus, paid quarterly
