About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Procurement to join a leading property organisation. This is a strategic leadership position with responsibility for establishing and developing the procurement function from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving cost efficiencies, enhancing supplier relationships, and ensuring procurement activities support the organisation s wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the organisation s goals.
  • Establish and lead a dedicated procurement function, building a team over time to support business growth.
  • Manage procurement processes across a range of contracts, including construction, facilities management, professional services, and other key suppliers.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and deliver significant cost savings.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure high standards of service delivery and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and optimise procurement activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role within the property, construction, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in setting up procurement functions and building effective teams.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with a track record of delivering measurable cost savings.
