Head of Private Client Solicitor – Central London (5+ PQE)

A highly regarded Central London firm is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to head up its established department. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to lead a strong team, manage a high-quality caseload, and play a key role in the strategic growth of the practice.

The Role

• Lead and develop the Private Client department, overseeing a varied and often complex caseload.
• Advise on wills, trusts, estate administration, succession and tax planning, frequently for high-net-worth and international clients.
• Provide supervision and support to junior fee-earners, fostering professional development within the team.
• Build and maintain longstanding client relationships, ensuring the highest standards of service.
• Take an active role in business development and the wider management of the firm, with a view to future partnership.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in private client law.
• Strong technical expertise across wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning.
• Demonstrate leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues alike.
