Head of Private Client / Partner

Location:Central London

Salary:£150,000+ DOE + Equity/Profit Share Potential

Are you a senior Private Client solicitor ready to take the next step into a leadership role?

We're working with a prestigious and well-regarded London firm seeking an experienced Private Client lawyer to head up their department - with clear partnership or equity participation on offer for the right individual.

The Firm:

This is a forward-thinking and modern firm with a longstanding reputation in the high-net-worth space. Known for its discreet and sophisticated approach, the firm advises UK and international clients on complex private wealth matters including trusts, succession planning, tax, estates, and family governance.

The Role:

As Head of Private Client, you’ll be the strategic and operational lead of the department. You will:

  • Inherit and build upon an established book of HNW/UHNW clients
  • Lead, mentor and grow a talented team of associates and support staff
  • Drive business development initiatives and nurture referral networks
  • Play an integral role in firm-wide leadership decisions (Board/Equity level participation available)
  • Oversee complex cross-border matters including tax planning, estate administration, and trust structuring

You Will Bring:

  • 7+ years PQE within a respected Private Client practice
  • Strong track record advising HNW/UHNW individuals and families
  • Demonstrable experience leading a team or department
  • An existing client following or strong network (not essential but advantageous)
  • A commercial mindset and a desire to contribute to firm growth at a senior level
