Job summary

Oculus Legal Group seeks a Head of Private Client in the Midlands to lead a growing Private Client practice, shaping strategy and guiding a five-strong team. The role offers equity partnership potential within a nationally recognised firm and a supportive environment emphasising client service and work-life balance.

You will lead, mentor, and develop the team, advising on complex private client matters for high-net-worth clients and families with international assets. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Leadership and strategic direction experience in Private Client teams.
• Ability to mentor and develop fee earners and support staff.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Midlands Private Client practice.
• Lead, develop and mentor an established team of fee earners and staff.
• Advise on wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and LPAs for high-net-worth clients.
• Build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and landed estates.
• Advise clients with complex UK and international assets and growth opportunities.
• Foster professional development and technical excellence within the team.
• Drive business development and raise the team's national profile.
