Position Summary

As the Head of Privacy and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our privacy and compliance programs across all aspects of our global business operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our practices align with relevant data protection regulations, industry standards, and best practices. This position requires an understanding of the ad tech industry, coupled with a proven track record of implementing and managing robust privacy programs in global companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive privacy and compliance strategies and policies in alignment with relevant laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other emerging privacy frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all privacy-related inquiries, both internally and externally, including regulatory authorities, customers, and partners.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential risks and gaps in our privacy and compliance practices and develop action plans to address them effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering, to integrate privacy and compliance requirements into our products, services, and business processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on data privacy impact assessments, data subject rights requests, and other privacy-related matters.
  • Stay abreast of evolving privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards and assess their impact on our business, advising senior leadership accordingly.
  • Lead and mentor a team of privacy and compliance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy and compliance roles.
  • Experience in the d tech industry, with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, technologies and practices.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing privacy programs in global companies, with a focus on data protection, privacy by design, and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy Directive, and experience navigating complex regulatory environments.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations, identify solutions, and drive results in a collaborative manner.
