Job summary

The Ministry of Justice seeks a non-operational, line-managed Chaplaincy Service Leader to supervise a multi-faith team and ensure compassionate pastoral care for prisoners and staff across faith traditions. You will endorse by the Faith and Belief Adviser, deliver PSI 05/2016 policy framework, and coordinate worship, bereavement support, and training across the establishment.

• Experience leading chaplaincy or similar multi-faith teams.
• Ability to deliver faith and pastoral care to prisoners and staff.
• Experience implementing policy frameworks and governance.

• Oversee training, development and mentoring of chaplains and volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with PSI 05/2016 and related policies and procedures.
