Description

Do you have experience in the delivery of general insurance pricing models? AXA Retail has an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join their Pricing and Analytics department, responsible for the delivery and quality of all pricing models, including claims cost, market models, and other optimization input models.

You will collaborate effectively across AXA Retail to support our strategy and develop an ongoing programme of model refreshes, allocating resources in line with our ambitions.

At AXA, we promote flexible working, empowering our employees to balance home and office work to suit their needs, their team, and our customers. You will work at least 40% of your week away from home, with this increasing to the majority of your working week from September 2025. 'Away from home' includes attendance at our London office, visiting clients, or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing:

  • Accountable for claims, market, and optimization input models.
  • Develop an ongoing programme of model refreshes aligned with our strategy.
  • Ensure models are refreshed timely and in accordance with Governance and Group standards.
  • Promote innovation and adopt new techniques to improve pricing models, working closely with Data Science and ML teams.
  • Review the customer impact of pricing actions and respond accordingly.
  • Responsible for the evaluation and onboarding of new external data sources.
  • Collaborate across AXA Retail to support strategic objectives.
  • Lead the Modelling department, coaching and developing direct reports.
