Our client is a global, high growth Edtech business, providing teaching resources, tools and services to teachers, parents and schools around the world

Job Description

The successful Head of Pricing will:

  • Develop and implement worldwide pricing and packaging strategies across B2C and B2B channels, balancing revenue, profitability and market share
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business goals, including pricing of new-to-market products and services
  • Create financial models to forecast price change impact, design and implement A/B testing and utilise performance-based data to support decision-making
  • Provide clear recommendations to the Executive and Product teams, linking pricing strategy to customer acquisition and lifetime value
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor pricing and willingness-to-pay research
  • Continually review and monitor pricing, adjusting accordingly to market conditions and business needs
  • Develop insightful reporting, presenting to senior management
  • Establish global, scalable processes with strong governance

The Successful Applicant

The successful Head of Pricing should have:

  • Proven experience in pricing strategy and leadership
  • Experience in pricing and packaging across different geographies and segments
  • Pricing experience with both B2C and B2B subscription-based models, including a deep understanding of pricing impact to customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value
  • Excellent data literacy with a highly analytical and data focused approach to testing and making informed decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex pricing strategies to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in large scale A/B testing
  • Strong leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • An ability to travel to Sheffield monthly but the role can be home based
