Job summary

Queenswood School seeks an inspiring Head of Prep to build a brand-new prep school from the ground up in Hertfordshire. You will play a pivotal role in the inception of the Queenswood Prep, leading educational, pastoral, compliance and operational launch and management as a key member of the Leadership Team.

The role offers an exceptional opportunity to influence long-term strategy and growth, with the post subject to Enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• As a leadership role, previous strategic leadership experience in establishing a new school.
• Experience in teaching, learning and curriculum development.
• Experience with pastoral care, safeguarding and EYFS compliance.
• Proven people leadership and operational management, including admissions.

Queenswood School is seeking an inspiring, dynamic, and strategic educational leader to take on the role of Head of Prep to build a brand-new prep school from the ground up. Under our Queenswood Reimagined strategy, we are establishing a dedicated, bespoke girls-only preparatory school. Working in close partnership with the Principal and Governors, this role offers an unprecedented opportunity to influence not only the inception of the prep school but also the long-term strategic direction of Queenswood as a whole.

You will also lead the educational, pastoral, compliance and operational launch and management of Queenswood Prep, while serving as a key member of the whole-school Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
