Location: Hybrid Model - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Marylebone, London office with Mondays and Fridays WFH
Pandora's Head of PR & Influencer Marketing Day is responsible for leveraging fashion, consumer and corporate press to deliver high quality earned media. In parallel this role develops and leads the influencer and celebrity programme and strategic partnerships. The primary focus is developing and driving the PR & Influencer Strategy for Pandora in the UK and Ireland and leading a team of 6 (3 direct reports). Success is measured by improvements in brand consideration which is directly influenced by growth in brand desire and relevance. This role reports directly into the Marketing Director.

What to expect from the role
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing Director on the development of the overall UK & Irish Marketing strategies and then build the press, partnership and influencer plans that will deliver against these strategic objectives. Ensure these plans are understood and supported by key stakeholders, particularly Global PR, and the team are empowered to execute them with excellence.
- Strengthen and cultivate relationships with fashion and consumer press reinforcing Pandora's position as a leading full jewellery brand and retailer.
- Partner with Global Corporate Relations to ensure global brand messaging is positioned correctly in the UK with key corporate and trade press.
- Build and nurture direct relationships with senior editors and opinion leaders to drive brand reappraisal and secure access to new communication opportunities.
- Partner with the Head of Paid Media to ensure Pandora has presence in top tier consumer titles and is being supported editorially in return.
- Craft the communication and content calendar for earned media and influencers leveraging both global and local initiatives to create brand heat and interest.
- Responsible for end-to-end management of all UK press & influencer events, including press days, dinners and overseas trips.
- Identify influencers who authentically align with the brand's style, values, and targeted customer profiles with a focus on broadening appeal and shifting brand perception where needed. Also partner and influence the global teams to access global ambassadors.
- Develop and lead an end-to-end influencer marketing strategy, spanning ambassador programs, product seeding, paid partnerships, and long-term brand collaborations.
- Structure partnerships with clear performance goals (brand awareness, engagement, sales conversion) and negotiate contracts accordingly.
- Develop the team and support them with pitching stories to key titles and briefing influencers in line with the calendar and the strategic focuses.
- Responsible for managing the UK & Ireland PR & Influencer budget and ensuring spending drives business objectives. Present campaign results, insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build excellent relationships with the local Marketing and Commercial teams and Global PR and Social teams to ensure UK & Irish PR & Influencer plans are strategically aligned both locally and globally.
About You
To be considered, you must demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 10 years' experience working in fashion PR. Must be able to demonstrate an existing network with fashion press and up-to-date knowledge of media landscape.
- Must have relevant experience in working with VIPs and talent. The candidate should demonstrate a good understanding of talent recruitment, management and evaluation.
- Understanding of the strategic role of PR & Influencer Marketing and its impact on brand development is critical in this role. This needs to be combined with the ability to pitch for resources and budget and then manage them accordingly to reach the aligned deliverables.
- Experience in how to leverage relationships, provide the conditions for the creation of high-quality content and manage events to meet the strategic objectives of the brand.
- This role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written and will be expected to craft and deliver both internal and external communications with the brand tone of voice.
- Leadership skills with an ability to take the initiative and makes the role their own, plus experience of managing a PR and Influencer team.
- An ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, being able to make quick, informed decisions along the way.
- The candidate should be creative and feel comfortable with coming up with innovative concepts for events and campaigns.
- The candidate should show discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Be a positive team player who is happy to multi-task and support the wider team when needed.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are key plus an ability to allocate resources across the team in response to changes in business priorities.
