As the newly created Head of PPC/Biddable you will lead best-in-class Pan-European Paid Search strategy across web and app within our new in-house PPC team, driving improved traffic, conversions, and revenue. It blends strategic leadership with exceptional team management.

In this role you will define PPC priorities and roadmap in partnership with regional teams and media partners to exceed performance goals. Provide data-driven analysis to optimise Pan-European Paid Search budgets, ensuring performance is continually improved through ongoing optimisation and testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Paid Search Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the Pan-European Paid Search strategy, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals while adapting to regional market nuances.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key media partners (Google, Bing, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact. Collaborate with regional digital marketing teams to deliver bespoke regionally nuanced campaigns.
  • Campaign Management & Optimisation: Provide support to the team around day-to-day campaign management, utilising performance data to continuously refine and optimise campaigns. Lead A/B testing initiatives and performance reviews to drive improved subscriber acquisition metrics (CVR, CPA etc.) across all markets.
  • Cross-Channel Data Analysis: Provide actionable insights derived from both in-platform data and advanced models like Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA). Use these insights to inform broader marketing strategies and performance optimisations.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide data-driven insights for trading meetings, leveraging platform data, MMM, and MTA outputs. Offering clear, concise summaries of key metrics and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and ensure continual professional development of 3 Senior PPC Managers and 1 PPC Executive.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in multi-market Paid Search: Including hands-on experience within streaming/TV or a media agency. Able to provide compelling POVs across the breadth of the search landscape.
  • Expertise in Paid Search best practices and tools: Deep understanding of Paid Search strategies (across Search, UAC, PMAX and Demand Gen), trends, and bid management platforms (e.g. Search Ads 360, Skai).
  • Passion for digital marketing and entertainment: Keep abreast of tech and industry trends and developments
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset: Deliver actionable insights and define robust testing strategies.
  • People management skills: Can demonstrated the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and growth across diverse markets and disciplines.
  • Effective communicator with commercial acumen: Clear communication skills, capable of translating data into prioritised actionable insights based on business objectives.
  • Language skills: Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. A strong preference for additional European language capabilities.
