Job Description:

My client, a UK-based global insurance company, is currently looking for a Head of Transformation Planning & Readiness to join their Senior Leadership Team. The successful individual will be at the centre of their transformation programme, overseeing a complex portfolio of initiatives to ensure they are planned and implemented safely and efficiently.

Location: London, hybrid working

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team to develop and maintain a comprehensive transformation schedule. Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing planning standards and ensuring delivery aligns with the schedule
  • Enhancing business readiness mechanisms
  • Improving SME engagement for initiatives
  • Conducting quarterly reviews to assess the feasibility of the agenda
  • Clearly communicating plans and roadmaps, up to exec-level

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to manage complex and interrelated portfolios, on a global scale
  • Strong stakeholder management, senior-level influencing, and relationship management skills
  • Expertise in planning and scheduling with industry-standard methodology
  • Proven success in delivering change in a complex business environment
  • Commercial awareness and analytical capabilities
  • Relevant industry experience – either Insurance or Financial Services
