Job summary

Partner Company in the United Kingdom seeks a Head of Product Development to own the full lifecycle of physical consumer products. You will translate customer insights into specifications, pricing, and launches while coordinating with overseas manufacturing partners and a small research team.

You will lead end-to-end product decisions, including materials, packaging, and market positioning, with a strong emphasis on US-market insights and online channel execution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and launching physical consumer products for US consumers.
• Experience launching products primarily via online channels (Direct-to-Consumer, Amazon, etc.).
• At least five years in a consumer products company, brand, or retailer serving US consumers.
• Evidence of making difficult product decisions from customer insights.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development lifecycle from needs to post-launch performance.
• Maintain deep understanding of target customers and drivers of purchase.
• Generate actionable insights using reviews, search behavior, surveys, and interviews.
• Prioritize the product pipeline based on customer and commercial data.
• Own design decisions including materials, packaging, sizing, and positioning.
• Manage overseas factories and manufacturing partners.
