Job summary

Kinetic Games Limited is seeking a Head of HR to lead the people function, advise the leadership team and own employee relations, performance management, and policy development across the studio.

This hybrid Southampton role requires strategic and hands-on HR expertise, UK employment law knowledge, CIPD Level 7, and a track record of growing organisations while strengthening culture and staff retention.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leadership experience directing strategy for a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Experience advising senior executives and leadership teams.
• Proven ability to design and implement HR processes in growing organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the studio's HR function and manage, mentor and develop the HR team.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management and policy development.
• Guide the CEO, directors and leadership team with commercial HR guidance.
• Develop HR strategy to support growth, lifecycle and maturity of the company.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and use HR metrics to inform decisions.
• Support recruitment strategy aligned with long-term studio needs.
