Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Embed the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and Patient Safety Incident Response Plan (PSIRP) at RUH.
  • Ensure high quality and timely management of all Patient Safety Incident Investigations (PSIIs) and learning responses.
  • Support the Associate Director for Patient Safety and Quality in developing strong governance insights, involvement and improvement activity across the organisation, ensuring that systems thinking, human factors understanding and just culture principles are embedded.
  • Work closely with the Head of Quality Assurance and Head of Patient Experience and provide cross cover of the combined portfolio.
  • Collaborate with divisional and speciality governance leads and senior leaders to triangulate the approach and ensure compliance with external regulatory bodies.
  • Temporarily manage risk management functions to enable the Head of Quality Assurance to embed ongoing programmes of work.
