Head of Partnerships | Fast-Growth Sports Foundation | London

Harmonic is excited to be working exclusively with a fast-growth sports foundation who are looking for a Head of Partnerships to join its growing team. This role is perfect for someone looking to use their existing business development and client-facing skills in a social-impact led business.

This organisation was founded through the love of football and wanting to make the sport accessible for less advantaged families and players. These programs help young people to have access to soft skills development, improvements in mental and physical health alongside connecting them through a community that is not discriminated by socioeconomic backgrounds. They have grown their fundraising income from £800,000, to £2.5m over the last three years, and looking to continue and accelerate this trajectory, growing fundraised income to £8m by 2028.

The organisation is looking to make a real impact and change to communities in London through the love of football. The team is proud of their non-corporate, fun and innovative culture where they provide comprehensive training and incredible career progression.

The Role:

This role is pivotal in driving corporate partnerships that support the organisation in achieving its ambitious growth objectives. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and CEO, the primary focus will be on securing and managing high-value partnerships with leading brands in both the sporting and commercial sectors.

Duties:

  • Develop new corporate partnerships that align with the organisation’s values and larger mission.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing partners by delivering excellent account management.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Fundraising to develop a corporate partnership strategy.
  • Manage the two direct reports.
  • Monitor and report on progress against financial targets and fundraising objectives.

What our client would like to see (Essential Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from reputable universities.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a business development role.
  • Track record of high-profile clients (6-figure funds).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
