Reporting to the Assistant Director for Affordable Housing and Major Capital Projects, this role involves negotiating all affordable housing within the borough to meet housing needs, managing the pre-contract team, and handling technical planning, legal, and contractual matters related to residential property. The role requires oversight of a complex program, aligned with corporate policies and deadlines.
You will also develop partnerships with local authorities, registered providers, contractors, developers, and landowners to secure new development opportunities and cost-effective council housing solutions for Hounslow.
You should be able to think creatively and proactively develop innovative solutions for affordable housing. You will be an expert in housing development, planning, and delivery, actively seeking development opportunities in collaboration with internal departments and external partners such as GLA, RPs, property developers, and housing associations.
