We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.

Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.

Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The role...

We’re looking for a commercially minded and strategic leader to drive the growth of our partnerships function across the UK and Ireland. Reporting into the VP of Partnerships, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy through high-performing software and referral partnerships.

At Dojo, we work with a wide range of software providers and referral partners – from retail and hospitality EPOS systems to vertical SaaS platforms – to deliver fast, reliable, and integrated payment experiences to merchants. As Head of Partnerships, you'll lead a growing team focused on acquiring, enabling, and scaling these partner relationships to drive adoption of Dojo’s products.

This is a high-impact role that blends partner acquisition, commercial leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.

What You Will Do…

  • Lead and develop a team of Partnership Managers across the UK&I, setting clear objectives and driving performance through coaching and accountability.
  • Own and execute the UK&I partner strategy, aligned with Dojo’s wider commercial objectives.
  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard new ISVs, resellers, and referral partners that align with our ideal customer profile.
  • Deepen and optimise existing partnerships to maximise merchant acquisition, engagement, and revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, and Tech to ensure seamless partner enablement and integration.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with high-potential partners, ensuring joint objectives and ROI are met.
  • Represent the partnerships function across UK&I commercial leadership forums and contribute to cross-functional planning.
  • Track, analyse, and report on partner performance and pipeline, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the payments and software partner ecosystem across the UK & Ireland.

What You Will Bring…

  • Proven experience in partnerships, commercial strategy, or partner sales, ideally within fintech, payments, or SaaS.
  • Proven success in acquiring and scaling ISV or channel partnerships in the UK&I market.
  • Deep understanding of the merchant acquiring landscape and partner-led customer acquisition models.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of driving partner revenue growth and managing complex negotiations.
  • Comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Based in or able to travel to London regularly, with flexibility to travel across the UK & Ireland as needed.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
