Job summary

DS Smith in Hinckley is seeking a Cluster Design & Innovation Manager to lead the design and innovation strategy across the cluster, aligning with Division and Country objectives.

You will manage the PackRight Centre and a team of packaging designers, driving consistency in tools, KPIs and reporting, and championing technical innovation that delivers real value to customers and supports growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading innovation/design teams in packaging or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strategic thinking.

• Lead the design and innovation strategy within the cluster, aligning with Division and Country objectives.
• Manage the PackRight Centre and a talented team of packaging designers, fostering innovation and ensuring high-quality solutions.

• Champion technical innovation and creative design that delivers value to customers and supports business growth.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure ongoing innovation meets market needs.
