Overview: Our client, a reputable investment management firm, is seeking a skilled Head of Operations Oversight to join their team on a 9-12 month fixed-term basis. The position can be based in London or Edinburgh.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of middle office, back office, and transfer agency activities in Asset Management.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to outsourcing services.
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment concerning asset management and related middle/back-office activities.
• Technical knowledge of CASS rules and regulations.
• Strong people management skills.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee core outsourced activities and team responsibilities.
• Lead daily management and people management of the team.
• Ensure NAV oversight with daily process and control execution.
• Manage corporate actions, cash, and stock/cash reconciliation.
• Oversee retail & segregated mandate flow management and reporting.
• Ensure CASS oversight and control effectiveness.
• Handle regulatory returns related to team activities.
• Manage trade lifecycle across various asset classes.
• Coordinate change management with outsource providers.
• Oversee Transfer Agency operations.
