Job description

To lead our Italian Operations team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations to support continued business growth.

As a member of our Country Management team, you will work with senior leaders to deliver long-term business strategies, overseeing the operations department.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing multi-year plans aligned with company strategy.
2. Leading teams and overseeing operational activities, maintaining excellent relationships with internal clients.
3. Managing and reporting on the performance of a diverse team of approximately 70 people, including 5 direct reports.
4. Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and promoting a safety-first culture.
5. Overseeing transportation processes to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and optimize delivery times.
6. Managing site maintenance, statutory compliance, and the upkeep of the building and grounds.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Proven success in logistics management.
• Experience in facilities management and transportation.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive performance.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Excellent business English skills (B2/C1 level).
