OVERVIEW

Seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead our project management and administrative teams, ensuring seamless delivery across every stage, from pre-contract planning through to final installation. This role is crucial in supporting sales, driving process excellence, and ensuring high-quality project outcomes that are delivered on time and on budget.

Operations Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the project management and admin teams
  • Oversee resource planning, team development, and departmental performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure all projects are delivered to a high standard and within commercial targets
  • Partner with the Sales team to shape operational strategy during tenders
  • Join client meetings to build confidence in delivery capability and timelines

Project Oversight

  • Guide project teams through post-award delivery
  • Troubleshoot escalated issues and keep departments aligned
  • Manage external partners, including installation teams, freight, and customs

Process & Performance

  • Continuously improve operational processes and internal systems
  • Monitor KPIs and report to identify efficiencies and boost performance
  • Champion best practices across all operational functions

Procurement & Logistics

  • Oversee procurement, supplier coordination, and delivery scheduling
  • Approve customs and compliance documentation
  • Manage installation and logistics budgets with sales and delivery teams
  • Resolve operational disputes when needed

Cross-Functional Impact

  • Collaborate across teams to resolve supplier, budget, or logistics challenges
  • Contribute operational insight to wider business planning and leadership meetings
Requirements
