Job Description:

Typically:

• Ensures application of Operational Risk framework elements to create solutions.
• Drives Continuous Improvement in operational risk tools and standards.
• Leads a team of Operational Risk professionals.
• Level of stakeholders being coached tends to be leaders up to GM level and as well as Senior Executives (VP/EVP). The job holder manages the engagement with a large variety of (groups of) stakeholders on an operational and strategic level, managing competing priorities. This stakeholder engagement includes participating in and leveraging relevant networks.
• Works independently under broad managerial supervision. Prioritises and shapes own work and of others in projects. Can influence with authority through "natural teams" when working on major opportunities.
• Strongly influences decisions. Requires the ability to quickly understand the challenges and complexities of the businesses - must have a broad foundation in place to be able to understand business interfaces and impact.
• Quality of advice will influence decision making processes.
