Job summary
Abbott is seeking a Head of Operational Excellence to drive end-to-end improvements across Healthcare Services in the UK, including Maidenhead and Sittingbourne sites. The role focuses on continuous improvement, digital transformation, and service optimisation to enhance patient and customer outcomes.
You will collaborate across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Operations, champion automation, and lead teams to deliver superior service levels and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience leading operational excellence and business transformation programmes.
- Strong background in supply chain, customer services, or healthcare operations.
- Proven track record with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- A-level education including English and Mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational excellence initiatives across Healthcare Services.
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation across the function.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Operations to improve forecasting and service delivery.
- Lead Customer Service and Digital Health Solutions teams to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
- Develop strategies to support business continuity and service resilience.
