Role: Director of Nursing – NMC
Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus Scheme
Location: Mitcham, South London – Office-Based
Hours: Full Time | Mon–Fri | 9am–5pm

Job Description:

Are you a dynamic and experienced Nurse Leader with a background in Complex Homecare and a passion for delivering personalised, high-quality care? Compass Associates is seeking a Director of Nursing for a specialist provider of Complex Homecare Services. This senior leadership role is based at the organisation’s South London headquarters and is pivotal in delivering and developing high-quality community care services.

The provider supports individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, and complex physical health needs, including brain or spinal injuries. Their mission focuses on delivering bespoke, compassionate care tailored to each individual's needs.

This is a fully office-based role in Mitcham, South London.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Registration with the NMC as a Nurse
  2. Experience in Complex Homecare or Nurse Case Management
  3. Clinical background in Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and complex physical conditions
  4. Strong understanding of CQC standards and a track record of maintaining Good or above
  5. Leadership skills to manage a team of Registered Managers and Clinical Leads
  6. Provide clinical oversight on safeguarding, care planning, and quality audits
  7. Drive workforce development through supervision and training
  8. Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning

Benefits include a salary of £80,000–£90,000 depending on experience, approximately 10% annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, EMI Scheme, and an introductory virtual meeting with the COO.
