Job summary

Surecall Medical Recruitment is partnering with a private fertility clinic in the South West of England to appoint a Head of Nursing. This senior role leads the nursing team, owning standards across the clinic and working closely with the Medical Director and senior leadership.

You will shape the patient journey from initial consultation through treatment and aftercare, ensuring governance and compliance. A collaborative, patient-centred environment with a competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience at Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Nurse Manager level.
• Strong knowledge of HFEA regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and patient-centred approach.

About the role

As Head of Nursing, you will lead the nursing team and take ownership of nursing standards across the clinic, working closely with the Medical Director and senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

Requirements

• Current NMC registration
• Substantial experience in fertility or reproductive medicine nursing
• Proven leadership experience at Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Nurse Manager level
• Thorough knowledge of HFEA regulations and quality standards
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach
• The ability to motivate teams and lead change
