About the opportunity: At Everton Football Club, we are currently embarking on one of the most significant and exciting chapters in our history.
As we prepare for the imminent move from Goodison Park, our home of 133 years, to a world-class new stadium on the banks of the iconic River Mersey, we have a unique and exciting opportunity to join us as Head of New Stadium Finance.
As Head of New Stadium Finance you will play a critical role in the management of the day to day running of the New Stadium finance function.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee all financial aspects, including day to day transactional accounting, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting and ownership of all relevant management information to assist with the monitoring of business performance.

Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for someone who is ACA or CIMA qualified, who has proven experience/strong knowledge of the financial environment relating to the operation of Football Clubs.
You must have extensive knowledge, experience and practical application of accountancy within a football environment and be comfortable working with a wide variety of demands and be flexible enough to meet and exceed challenging objectives and targets that contribute significantly to organisational performance.
We need someone who is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to ensure the success of our ambitious stadium plans.
The role is permanent and will be based at our Head Quarters in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool; working 35 hours per week, the closing date of this advert is Wednesday 21st May 2025.
