What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a Head of New Business to lead our efforts in the corporate market. This key role will shape and drive our sales strategy, expand our market presence, build key client relationships, and contribute to our mission:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects within the corporate sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting trust relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Work with a small, growing new business team to generate relevant leads.
  • Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts on product development and targeted campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to inform strategies.
  • Engage with clients at various levels to understand their challenges and guide them through the client journey.
  • Identify routes to success, working with technical experts, solutions architects, and project teams to maximize PGI’s value to clients.
On day one you will bring:
  • At least 5 years of business development experience in the corporate market, preferably with expertise in information security or payments compliance services.
  • A track record of managing teams and developing sales skills in others.
  • Proven success in building and growing sales in the corporate sector, with a strong network of contacts.
  • Deep understanding of corporate sales processes, market trends, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a scaling sales team.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing clients with an exceptional experience, understanding their pain points and needs.
  • Skill in negotiating multi-year contracts to secure revenue opportunities.
  • Knowledge of how to sell PGI’s value, network at events, maintain relationships despite account changes, and secure client referrals.
  • Ability to build client trust in PGI’s expertise and services, prioritizing their business needs.
  • Capability to identify multiple revenue opportunities by showcasing PGI’s expertise and service offerings.
