With a combined 100+ years of industry experience in IT networking spread across our management team, we aim to build strategic relationships with our clients and offer services including strategy & roadmaps, high & low level design, SDN consultancy, network architect as a service, and more.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as the Head of Network Design & Engineering at MNB Networks Ltd. The role involves overseeing the design and engineering of network solutions and collaborating as a trusted partner with internal and external network teams.

While the role is based in Edinburgh, some remote work is acceptable and we would consider exceptional candidates in other areas of Scotland or the North East of England, i.e., Newcastle, Yorkshire, or Manchester.

Qualifications & Experience Summary

• CCIE certification.
• CCNP / CCDP with 15+ years of experience considered.
• Significant High and Low Level Design experience.
• Proven leadership of highly skilled network teams.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Network Design.
• Minimum 5 years Network Engineering experience.
• In-depth BGP / MP-BGP knowledge.
• In-depth IGP (OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS) knowledge.
• Modern and traditional DC networking experience.
• MPLS L2 and L3VPN design experience.
• WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN enterprise networks experience.
• Wi-Fi design and implementation experience.
• Experience with network security platforms.
• Cloud Service Provider (CSP) networking experience.

Please Note: This role is open to candidates who are located in the UK, preferably in Scotland or the North of England as far south as Manchester.
