Summary
We're looking for a Head of Net Zero Carbon Fundraising to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract.
About the Department/Role
The Net Zero Carbon programme has been established to help the Church of England deliver its commitment to reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030. It aims to equip, resource, and support all parts of the Church in reducing carbon emissions from energy used in buildings, schools, and work-related transport by 2030.
All parts of the Church will need to raise funds to implement this Net Zero plan. The Giving Directorate works alongside the core Programme Team to develop strategies to coordinate and support plans by dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments to secure funding and distribute grants to leverage further fundraising.
What you'll be doing
As Head of NZC Fundraising, you'll be the strategic lead for the Fundraising Workstream within the Net Zero Carbon Programme. Your responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of the fundraising strategy: raising funds, securing strategic partnerships, lobbying government, and leading collaborative fundraising efforts at regional, diocesan, and local levels. You will distribute grant funding through Give To Go Green to support community-level initiatives and lead a team of national fundraisers, managing a network of regional NZC fundraisers across the country.
