Head of - Music (and Performing Arts)

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: London Borough Harrow

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: £26,788 - £50,472 per year

Our School

We are working with an amazing three-form entry primary school currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated, and ambitious teacher who is relentless in their pursuit to be the best they can be. Our school boasts a groundbreaking strings programme, where 260 pupils receive music tuition. We also run a school orchestra and choir. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and skilled educator to shape and develop the delivery of music across all key stages, while playing a strategic role within the school community.

Qualities Required
  • Committed and ambitious QTS teacher
  • Ability to lead the school choir
  • Playing the violin or other strings would be advantageous
  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Ability to manage colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods
  • Participation in extracurricular activities to support student development
