Job description

Head of MIS and Funding

Job type - Full time, Permanent

Location - Home based

Nacro is the largest not-for-profit further education and skills provider of its type.

We deliver education and training to around 3000 disadvantaged young people, apprentices, and adults each year through our network of Education and Skills Centres, funded by the Department for Education.

We pride ourselves on the progression opportunities we create for them and the nurturing environment that helps our young people and adults succeed in learning to the highest standards.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Further Education professional as our Head of Management Information Systems (MIS) and Funding to lead our MIS team and develop our EBS system and associated software. This is a pivotal role, working with the senior management team to lead in the implementation and maintenance of student data systems and processes, develop staff knowledge, and help design more efficient ways of working.

You will be responsible for ensuring high data quality and audit compliance, and that customer needs are met through robust data reporting, funding reporting, and oversight. Statistical analysis and management reporting, using sector-specific information and funding trends to inform future strategy, are crucial.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted “Good” rated Education Directorate and high-profile national charity. You will maintain high standards of data reporting and further develop its data functions to meet the needs of internal customers, external stakeholders, funding agencies, and commissioners. We seek a leader with extensive knowledge of MIS systems (EBS and Strata preferred), experience in developing teams, and in-depth knowledge of FE sector priorities and funding.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
