Job summary

Cloudscaler in London is seeking a Head of Migrations to own the end-to-end migration programme. You will lead MAP engagements, data centre exits, and landing zone migrations, building repeatable methodologies and delivery assets to scale the offering.

You will recruit and lead a team, own P&L for the unit, and drive AI-enabled discovery, reporting, and business-case development. Travel to customer sites will be required on an onward basis.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large-scale AWS migration programmes with outcomes.
• Working knowledge of AWS MAP including funding and evidencing discipline.
• Experience of data centre exit and landing zone migration, not just app moves.
• Ability to build a TCO model and a migration business case for board-level buy-in.
• Commercial fluency: revenue, gross profit, utilisation and pipeline management.
• Credibility with senior client stakeholders and delivery track record.
• Experience hiring and leading delivery teams and setting quality standards.
• Ability to write and implement playbooks for migration delivery.
• Experience reaching AWS competency attainment in organisations.
• Regulated sector experience: FS, public sector, utilities, healthcare or defence.
• Modernisation delivery including containerisation and serverless refactoring.
• P&L ownership for a practice or unit.
• Productising delivery assets into reusable IP.
• Hands-on use of AI tooling to accelerate discovery and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own MAP engagement lifecycle from registration to funding and tracking.
• Lead data centre exit programmes end-to-end, including discovery and decommissioning.
• Own end-to-end migration methodology: discovery, assessment, planning, execution, validation.
• Own migration assessment tooling and map findings to migration patterns for business cases.
• Support commercial & funding conversations with client CTOs and infrastructure leads.
• Deliver six-month revenue plan and report KPIs from month one.
• Recruit, lead and develop the migration team when the case is approved.
• Drive AI and automation across migration lifecycle to improve accuracy.
• Represent Cloudscaler publicly via blogs, talks and partner activity with AWS.
