About the Role

Are you invested in the development of students? Are you confident in teaching Spanish and French? Do you have experience as a Department Head? TeacherActive is recruiting for a Head of MFL to work on a long-term or permanent basis at a secondary school in Bridgwater, which boasts beautiful grounds and outstanding facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of School in raising standards of teaching, learning, and achievement in the MFL department.
• Lead and manage the MFL team, ensuring effective delivery of Spanish and French lessons up to A-level and GCSE respectively.

Candidate Requirements

• QTS/PGCE with French/Spanish/MFL specialism (ECTs are welcome).
• Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages up to Key Stage 5 (desirable).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
