We are seeking a new team member to join us as Head of Mathematics at King James Academy Royston. The role is based in our secondary team (Y7-11), on the East Site, and is suited to a teacher with a track record of securing excellent academic outcomes at Key Stage 4. The secondary mathematics team comprises five members, including a Second in Department and a Lead Practitioner. The department is line managed by the Deputy Headteacher (Curriculum). Mathematics in KS2 is taught by class teachers and coordinated by a KS2 Assistant Head of School. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues on the primary phase to support curriculum coherence and progression in mathematics from Year 5 to Year 11.
