The Role

As Head of Maths, you will lead a committed and collaborative team in delivering outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 to 5. The department has a strong record of academic success, with high uptake at A-Level and excellent results year on year. You will have the opportunity to shape curriculum, drive innovation, and support both staff and students to achieve their very best.

The Ideal Candidate

1. A qualified teacher with a strong track record of teaching Maths at KS4 and KS5
2. Experience in middle leadership or a readiness to step into a Head of Department role
3. Proven ability to raise achievement and lead effective teaching strategies
4. A passion for mathematics and a commitment to high standards of education
5. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire staff and students alike
