Job summary

• Provide visible clinical and operational leadership across maternity services.
• Lead and support maternity teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Monitor service performance and key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety, compassion, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure implementation of national maternity strategies, regulatory standards and local policies.
• Lead workforce management including recruitment, rostering and workforce planning.
• Oversee patient safety, infection prevention and patient experience within designated areas.
• Investigate incidents and patient safety events and share lessons learned.
